Women’s 3 Hour Challenge
A long time ago, In a Galaxy Far, Far away, 2 eager MTB girls dreamt up an event just for the girls to have fun and ride bikes in the bush trying something new without the pressure of the boys.
Returning for its 8th year on SUNDAY May the 4th the Bendigo Women’s and Girls 3hr MTB Challenge promises to again bring you a fun and inclusive afternoon on bikes.
From the smallest of riders right up to the oldest we welcome YOU to get dressed up, grab your girl gang and have a GO!
Its an Intergalactic Theme (May the Forth be with you) and we cant wait to see just how crazy you can be.
Riding the 4.5km green loop or Dam Loop, you’ll be encouraged by our trail fairies and countless marshall’s and your cheer squad to do your best.
A new this year is the 'Just for Laughs' category. For the first timer, this is the perfect category & loop for the newest of Mountain Bike riders of ALL ages. Riding a 2km loop on 4wd track & easy single track! You will share some 4wd & single track with the rest of the riders & have a small section all to yourself as well. Suitable for MTBs, hybrid & gravel bikes.

Categories:
Dirt Squirts (7 years and under) - $5 per rider - Start at 10am and do two laps of the Muldoon Reserve Loop
Solo - E-bike or pedal power - $45 per rider - Staggered starts, kicking off at 10.30am
Pairs - E-bike or pedal power - $45 per rider - Staggered starts, kicking off at 10.35am.
Mother/Daughter team - $65 per team - Staggered start, kicking off at 10.45am
Junior Solo - 8-11 years or 12-16 years - $25 per rider - Start at 11am, and finish with everyone else at 1.30pm
Just for Laughs - $25 per rider - Duration 2hrs 11am-1pm

The Dirty Dual
Details: May 3rd 2025 at Spring Gully Trailhead – Watte Drive, Spring Gully
Grab a friend, family member or anyone with a bike and get dusty and dirty with Bendigo MTB club at the DIRTY DUAL 2025.
The Dirty Dual event aims to increase participation by fostering a fun and inclusive format, allowing more people to enjoy this great sport.
Format: One Lap on – one lap off pairs relay: You must swap riders every lap.
Categories: Pairs will race in the category of there combined age group. categories broken down will be:
Mens:
Category 1: 25 - 60 years
Category 2: 60 - 100 years
Category 3: 100 years +
Womens:
Category 1: 25 - 60 years
Category 2: 60 - 100 years
Category 3: 100 years +
Mixed:
Category 1: 25 - 60 years
Category 2: 60 - 100 years
Category 3: 100 years +
Ebike: For any team where one or more riders are on an E-Bike
Category 1: 25 - 60 years
Category 2: 60 - 100 years
Category 3: 100 years +
*Categories may be consolidated dependant on entry numbers. Categories will be automatically calculated off the date of birth's.
Hop Supply Co. Hot Lap is on for all the racers going for individual glory with fastest lap prizes for men’s, women’s and E- Bike age categories of U19, 19-40 and 40+
Can’t find a race partner, shoot the club a message and we’ll set you up.
The Dirty Dual is a 3 hour teams event to be held on 3rd of May 2024 between 1pm - 4pm. The event is hosted by Bendigo Mountain Bike club.
Entries will cost $120 per team.
Entries will remain open until the day before the event.
